As an important equipment in agricultural production, the storage environment management of manual transplanters is crucial. In order to ensure the long-term stable operation of the equipment, the storage environment must have multiple conditions such as dryness, ventilation, suitable temperature, cleanliness and safety.

A dry storage environment is the key to preventing the metal parts of the equipment from rusting. The launch cylinder, movable duckbill piece, and metal parts such as screws and nuts used in the frame of the transplanter are susceptible to rust due to the humid environment. Rust not only affects the appearance of the equipment, but also significantly reduces its mechanical properties, resulting in unsmooth movement and reduced accuracy. For example, if the seal of the launch cylinder is deformed due to rust, it will cause gas leakage in the cylinder, thereby affecting the normal execution of the transplanting action. Therefore, the storage place should have good ventilation conditions to avoid moisture accumulation. If necessary, dehumidification equipment can be used to reduce air humidity to ensure that the equipment is kept in an ideal dry state.

Temperature control is also an important consideration for the storage environment. The equipment may be damaged at too high or too low temperatures. In a high temperature environment, the rubber parts of the equipment, such as seals and tires, are prone to aging and deformation, losing their original elasticity and sealing properties. In addition, high temperature may accelerate the aging of electrical components and shorten their service life. In a low temperature environment, lubricating grease may solidify, making it difficult for mechanical parts to move and increasing wear. Therefore, the temperature of the storage environment should be maintained within an appropriate range to avoid the influence of extreme temperatures to ensure the normal operation of the equipment.

It is also crucial to keep the storage environment clean. Dust and debris may enter the mechanical transmission parts of the equipment, such as the slider linkage and bearings, causing increased wear of parts. At the same time, dust covers the surface of electrical components, which may affect their heat dissipation and normal operation. Therefore, regular cleaning of the storage place and keeping the floor, walls and equipment clean are important measures to maintain the good condition of the equipment.

Lighting conditions should not be ignored. Plastic parts such as handles and housings may age and fade after being exposed to strong light for a long time, thereby reducing their strength and toughness. Therefore, the storage place should avoid direct sunlight, and it is recommended to use curtains, awnings and other measures to block them to protect the equipment from ultraviolet damage.

Finally, the storage environment must also have good fire prevention and anti-theft measures. Manual transplanters are usually made of metal, plastic and other materials, and have certain economic value, making them easy targets for theft. Therefore, the storage site should be equipped with necessary fire-fighting equipment, such as fire extinguishers and fire sand, to deal with possible fire accidents. At the same time, measures such as monitoring equipment and safety locks should be taken to improve the safety of the storage site and ensure the safe storage of the equipment.
